Marfa Tymchenko (1922-2009) is a well known famous professional artist by vocation from Ukraine, Kiev. She is a member of the NUUP (National Union of Ukrainian Painters) and NUFAMU, National artist of Ukraine, the Kateryna Bilokur Prize laureate the Ukrainian Prize named after Taras Shevchenko laureate, a famous master of decorative art of Ukraine. Marfa Tymchenko paintings represent a very beautiful and very unusual style of art. This style is originated from a small Ukrainian Petrykivka village.
