Brains as jellyfish. Conceptual artwork of human brains depicted as jellyfish (bluebottles or portuguese men-o-war) floating in a sunlit warm ocean. This represents the concept of a sea of consciousness, as well as hinting at the unconscious (thoughts hidden below the waterline). It can also represent the 'brains in a jar' concept, with the brains swimming free in the ocean. The stingers can represent dangerous submerged thoughts.
