This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

Limestone stalactites hanging down from the ceiling of an underground limestone cavern. Stalactites are icicle-shaped mineral deposits. They form over thousands of years from minerals carried in the water flowing beneath the Earth's surface. As this water slowly drips through the cave roof, the minerals precipitate out and form the stalactites. This cave is part of the Bloukrans cave system, in the De Hoop Nature Reserve, South Africa.
